Lake Warren - Lake Warren State Park - Hampton County   About Lake Warren Lake Warren is the largest of the public lakes managed by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources .  A valid South Carolina Fishing License is required to fish here.  Lake Warren State Park is located here. There are two different sizes listed for this lake.  The SCDNR lists the lake as 400 acres and the State Park website lists the lake at 200 acres.  According to South Carolina State Park webmaster, 200 acres is the amount of water that can be accessed by the public. The reason is because weeds and other growth have overtaken some of the water.  There is also a 2 acre fishing lake located within the Lake Warren State park.   Specifications Size: 200 Acres    (400 acres - SCDNR Source - Original Size)   Regulations  A South Carolina Fishing License is required to fish this lake.  No outboard motors greater than 10 HP allowed. Electric motors are allowed.
